  • Called in here after reading good reviews on trip advisor. Sampled the sandwiches and pies and took a tub of ginger ice cream home with me. The pie was probably the nicest I have ever tasted!
  • We drove a 4 hour round trip! To buy a large tub of Hunters Sloe Gin Ice Cream. I'm not a great lover of ice cream or sloe gin but this is different, wonderful flavour, rippled with sloe syrup & chips...  more »

  • Visited on day trip and couldn't resist the display of pies. The staff were extremely friendly and the pies were magnificent.
  • I was in Helmsley on the occasion of the Farmyard Party. There were hundreds of hungry bikers in the square many of whom queued for food in Hunters. The friendly staff coped with the pressure with apparent ease and good humour. Great selection of sandwiches, pies etc and good coffee.
  • Make sure you try the pork pie with black pudding and apple, either individual or big slice. Whatever you buy take it up to the moors for a picnic. Heaven.
  • Bacon and Sausage Sandwich. Yesterdays dried and hard bacon, yesterdays sausage and poorly buttered bread made for an inedible breakfast. All for a staggering £3.50. Shocking price for a low quality sandwich. Cheap food at an expensive price. Never again.
  • Fantastic pies pastries etc.
