  • Good or bad weather Shipley park is a great place to visit. Some great walks and views. Two lakes to see and coffee shops and visitor centers spread throughout a huge area. One of the best parks in the country.
  • Plenty of varied walks to suit most. Popular with dog walkers. Excellent play areas for children. Nice cafe and toilets. Large car park - relatively expensive. Might be worth investigating historical background to enhance visit.
  • Loads of nice walks lovely surrounding and especially beautiful in sping (lots of bluebells) and autumn. Also activities for the little ones. Note the car park is now pay and display.
  • Great park. Play areas for the kids and Pokemon Go action for the adults. Loads of exercise machines that use your body weight against you and great amounts of space for walking the dog. Visitor centre and cafe area and plenty of picnic benches.
  • Brilliant facility for walking or jogging. Various access points. Two car park areas. Visitor centre and cafe. Events organised with Rangers. Soon to be home to Parkrun 😀
