Zoo / Aquarium
Meet an array of colorful and rare birds, including parrots, flamingos, owls, penguins, and red-billed Cornish choughs at Paradise Park Wildlife Sanctuary. Alongside the 650 birds of over 140 species, there’s plenty of non-winged wildlife to see, including red pandas, red squirrels, and otters. Visit the Fun Farm to see donkeys, pygmy goats, rabbits, and other farmyard animals. Children will enjoy the indoor Jungle Barn, with a soft play area, ball fountain, giant slides, and designated toddler’s zone. A loudspeaker will announce when a special activity is coming up, such as free-flying bird shows and feedings. The Otter Pool Cafe and Bird In Hand Pub are located just opposite the entrance for a bite to eat or a pint. • Nice place to visit to kill a couple of hours although I do think it's a bit overpriced for what you get. There's a little bit of farmyard animals at the rear with 2 activities for the kids. Small tra...  more »

  • Great for kids, both young and older. Nice bird behaviour display twice a day, educational and fun. Lots of different species to see, penguin feeding, and parakeet honey sessions are great fun.
  • Friendly staff, the children really enjoyed it.
  • This place has many good points to view your favourite animals and birds from a variety of different places around the world. The soft play centre is also a very good place to keep the kids happy. Bird shows are great but sometimes they do not go as well as expected... Oh well.
  • It's got birds. If you like birds go, if you don't, don't! Went today and we had a lovely day. It's not the cheapest place to go but they do so much for conservation think it's worth supporting them. Was really good to see different types of birds other than the usual birds of prey flying. Do recommend taking your own food tho. Nice place we will visit again :-)
  • Lots of different birds, a few farm animals penguins and otters. They do a great show, they even have a bird that collects a pound for charity from visitors, well worth a visit, We had a really good time. We will take the grandkids next time.
