  • Went here today with my boyfriend- we were the only ones in there as I believe it only opened today. I absolutely loved it - the caves were very eerie and I jumped a couple of times - good narration- ...  more »
  • Very fascinating for the children, and a bit spooky. Parts of it seemed a bit run down , with various things not working. But the children enjoyed it and were in and out within An hour  more »

  • Very interesting experience and informative. Eldest son, 7 really enjoyed it but youngest son, 4 found it a bit scary with all the statues, actors voices and as he can't read yet he didn't get anything from the written displays. They even have a decent set of toilets partway through despite being buried underground!
  • Fantastic attraction to Hastings. Had a very enjoyable experience and was even informed of the history attached to the caves. Many walls are man made, which I didn't realize.. I find this great value for money and perfect for a cool down on a hot day.. Plenty to do here
  • Staff friendly and helpful. The history and stories around the use of the caves are fascinating. But - the whole adventure seems stuck back in the '70/'80s which is a real shame. The displays are showing their age with bits falling off. That said for a family trip with children around 7 to 12 years would be a good trip out.
  • A great attraction for the whole family! Set deep in the cliffs of Hastings, the Smugglers Adventure is a must visit. Lights are available to buy at the entrance but you didn't necessarily need them. The character that guides you, Hairy Jack, brings the caves to life as you discover the history of these once notoriously dangerous caves. There are plenty of interactive activities as well as lots of information to read as you walk through the caverns. Would definitely recommend.
  • Performed here a couple of times but such a great attraction and worth visiting. It's dark and your never too sure what's around the next corner but lots to see and worth a visit on a rainy day or hot summer day.
