Pett Level Beach, Hastings

Inspirock Rating:
4.6/5 based on 110+ reviews on the web
Experience a picturesque English coastline at Pett Level Beach, a wild shore characterized by smooth pebbles and a backdrop of cliffs. Take a walk or bike ride here, but remember to wrap up in cold weather, as it's a challenge to ward off the relentless winds. In warmer months, the beach's calm waters make for easy swimming; just be careful not to swim too close to the cliffs in case of falling rocks, and wear aqua shoes to protect your feet. If you have time, explore the seaside village or check out the fossilized forest dating back to the last ice age. Find the forest at the end of the beach during low tide.
