  • A varied selection of antiques, collectibles and memorabilia housed in a former church . Prices to suit all from £5 upward. Cafe offers reasonable priced meals. An interesting day out. Always find something of interest to buy.
  • I love it here. This is an old church that had been converted to a very large antique shops and café. I can easily spend the afternoon looking around the shop then having a bite eat in the café
  • If you like old stuff then buy oh boy your in for a treat musty old relics galore in here. It's like a museum but if it takes your fancy you can own the exhibits.
  • I visited Holden Wood antiques today, Thursday 21st July2016. I have visited many times to look at the lovely stock in the antique store and visit the café. The café is always very good. Today, however I went to check out an art deco light fitting I had seen before and wanted to purchase if the price was right. The chap serving in the shop, who is I assume the owner, was arrogant and derisive to say the last when I asked him if the dealer could do me a better price. He knocked me off 10 % himself and would not discuss the situation any further. I then showed him a naïve jug I liked which had no price on it. He made up a price and would not discuss it further, he was completely dismissive and rude and walked away from me without any social niceties whatsoever. I have bought several things there before and eaten in the café for years at least once a month. I will not be visiting again. His attitude was terrible.
  • Always lots of interesting items and plenty of choice. Also a good price range from bits n bobs to proper antiques and everything in between. The food is excellent, well priced and the service has always been friendly. Enjoyed the salmon linguini and the cakes are always superb. Great place to take your mum for a pleasant day out.
