  • Very pleasant visit to Tudor mansion house famous for its many Priest holes that hid Catholic clergy during the 1600s. It is surrounded by a moat and has a lake bordering its very nice gardens. The Malt house cafe is worth a visit. Picnic tables on the lawns. Even the toilets retain Tudor beams. It is free to visit grounds on non event days. There are designated parking spaces for disabled people in a large car park
  • Fascinating story about the house and people who lived there and its hidden secrets. Guided tour took approx 90 minutes. Well worth the money. Tour guide was excellent. Nice choice of food and drink at on site cafe. Would certainly visit again.
  • Great place and one before this visit ,I had never heard of. This place oozes interesting history. I highly recommend having the tour rather than free flow. There are 7 priest hides here, and you really need to be shown where they are as you are bound to miss some. Lovely small grounds and a fantastic little cafe. They also do special open days where reenactors bring the building back to life . Highly recommended
  • If you are looking to visit a place that's steeped in history, set in a beautiful village, Harvington Hall is the one. The most knowledgeable, engaging, enthusiastic guides. Sounds like a cliché but history brought alive. Then to stop for a much needed coffee, and be presented with the most photogenic cafe of all time. And the ducks... I'll leave you to discover those for yourselves!
  • Have visited Harvington Hall about 5 times over the years, even now I still find it fascinating. Great place to go, lots to see, even the ducks will provide entertainment. Guide upstairs very knowledgeable, but I've yet to find out why Thomas Mores story is depicted in stained glass, nothing on the net either to say why. Priest holes and wall art is amazing. Well worth a visit.
