  • We popped to Harrogate to see a show at the Royal Hall, and we booked a couple of days to stay local and 'take a look around'. These gardens are great, plenty of seats to rest, stop, take in the view,...  more »
  • This park at the border of Harrogate (next to the Museum) is really pleasant, especially the stone and wood arches with plants all over them. Coffee shop (and ice creams) near the fountain.  more »
  • Took a leisurely stroll through these beautiful gardens whilst on a weekend break. Husband hadn't been since he was a small boy- I hadn't visited at all, so was pleasantly surprised at the colours, la...  more »

  • Delightful gardens. Good for young & old. Lovely planted gardens to stroll around, have a picnic and just enjoy. Fantastic kids playground, suitable for toddlers to teens. (paddling pool open July/Aug). Skate park, crazy golf, pitch & putt and small boating pond for toy boats. Cafe serving drinks etc (hot food til 3pm)
  • Beautiful piece of Harrogate with something for everyone, ace play area and skate park for the kids, ice cream kiosks, dog walking, crazy golf, paddling pool in summer, wildlife, some nice old buildings and history surrounded by excellent flower gardens and greenery. Simple good family stuff and all for free. 5 stars for sure.
  • Beautiful park to suit everyone. Plenty of open space for picnics and lots of seating. Children's play area and crazy golf as well as a skate park. If you have a model boat there is a pond in a quiet area of the park. Next to this is a cafe where you can also purchase ice creams. During the year there are activities and events held here. The gardens are always kept clean and tidy with beautiful floral displays.
  • A lovely garden with beautiful flowers and statues. The garden also has a large children’s play area including paddling pool, baby swings and tennis courts. The garden is accessible for those in wheelchairs and using pushchairs. The children’s area is very busy on weekends, so get there early to avoid any disappointment. If you follow the path, it will lead to you to Harlow Carr Gardens It gets a bit muddy in places, so make sure to wear wellies! Entrance to the garden is free and public toilets are available.
  • Good area to meander and relax. Children's playground, skate park and streamside area plus a boating lake. Plenty seating, a coffee shop and kiosk too. Planted beds and borders are lovely. Within easy walking distance from town center.
