  • although we couldn't get into the castle as there was an event on we were free to walk around the grounds and explore beautiful countryside and the village itself is gorgeous ......very quaint. 
  • If you come on weekdays, the tour of Ripley castle only costs £5. It's about 75 minutes for the tour, and you get to see a tudor-era wood-panelled room and a Library floor where Oliver Cromwell almost...  more »
  • Part of the Castle is made into a museum.Very interesting tour.The staff is very friendly and answer all your questions.We loved it and think it's sure a great way to learn about Yorkshire.
