After visiting RHS Rosemoor a few years ago it was interesting to see what the RHS can achieve in a different climate at the other end of the country. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon strolling rou...  more »

We have visited many many times at all times of year and there is no season when we don't enjoy it, but June and July when the huge double herbaceous borders are at their best is my favourite. These h...  more »

  • So this is a place we love to go to at all times if the year. Good for inspiration around your own garden or just a lovely walk around the both formal and informal areas of the grounds. Great for the kids as well with a couple of areas set aside solely for them. Lovely displays of tulips in the spring along with any number of rhododendrons. Summer follows with the show of the perennials. A fantastic library full of all the gardening books you could wish for and if you're an RHS member, lending from the library is possible. Betty's tea rooms is on site with a full cafe area which is fabulous for a treat at any time of the year, with little Betty's serving to an outdoor cafe.
  • Loved it! Lots of small gardens to explore. Had a petting greenhouse open when we attended which little one loved. Large open spaces fir little one to run round . Would go back. £11 per ticket is steep but we spent about 4 hours there so value for money. Could do with more parking.
  • Came here in September a few years ago and the place was packed. Coming in May seems to have reduced the crowds while there's still plenty to see. The beds, and the walk by the stream were excellent as was the arboretum. The veg plots are probably better at harvesting time.
  • Simply gorgeous. Lovely day out for anyone. Play areas for children are inviting and fun. Well done!
  • Absolutely beautiful in the evening sunshine. The tulip displays inspirational. Peaceful places to sit with gorgeous views. Somewhere special where you can enjoy everything spring has to offer.
