A pretty entertaining evening, foods not great but they have alright odds.
We went there on a Friday night, got charged £6 to get in to find there were only 7 races with only 5 dogs in each race. The toilets were filthy with no soap in any of the dispensers & only two bar staff on which made getting a drink an absolute nightmare, although to be fair it wasn't their faults. Overall avoid the place like the plague.
Great night out. And great value.
Cheap drinks, friendly atmosphere and comfortable seating in the upstairs Box.
I was very disappointed. First all the tables were reserved so we had to sit on the edge of someone elses and feel awkward. I feel there should of at least been some tables left for people who haven't reserved! The building itself was run down and outdated. ie the toilets, broken lift and lack of air conditioning. But the real disappointment was the food. £6.25 for 3 pieces of grease sodden scampi and cold chips. It was vile. I used to enjoy going to Harlow dogs, but I would not return. They are clearly making a profit as the whole place was booked, but they need to reinvest this into the building and catering or they wont be getting any return customers. like myself.
