  • Bushy Park is one of my favourite places in London. It is a huge deer park with hundred of Red and Fallow deer which are very tolerant of people (apart from in the rutting season in the Autumn). There are many paths which are excellent for cycling and walking, and it is all flat (unlike Richmond Park). There is an excellent cafe at the Pheasantry which is in the beautiful Woodland Garden, a great place to see birds, squirrels and rabbits. I recommend Bushy park as somewhere to introduce children to nature and learn to ride their bikes.
  • Love this part. Perfect October walk - big enough to find your own space. Great for photography - wish I'd had my proper camera with me!
  • Beautiful park with a large selection of lakes and streams. It is directly adjacent to Hampton Court Palace so might be a nice addition to a day out there. It is a very large park with two major car parks, most play parks for kids, and a restaurant in the woodland gardens. It is big enough to warrant planning what you want to do and potentially getting a map. Fishing is allowed with a permit.
  • Wonderful park to walk and see the wildlife (deer, birdlife, swans). Lovely pond gardens and wide open spaces. Chestnut Avenue and the Diana Fountain along the main avenue is just beautiful. Cafe and public facilities available and huge children's play area.
  • I love this park. Great to see deers at close and other animals. Fantastic place for cycling, jogging, playing etc. Beautiful gardens inside too.
