  • What a great place. A warehouse filled with books, all cost a pound to buy. Coffee shop is vegetarian, that would normally put me off, but it's great! Amazing freshly made coffee, homemade cakes, soup...  more »
  • This is basically a rural warehouse, surrounded by fields with a free car park, a decent café and very clean toilets. I did not attempt to verify their claim of 1 million books on site. Their sorting ...  more »

  • Exactly as it is called a large barn like building filled to the brim in mainly second hand books and a small selection of antique ones as well. A nice little café and washroom facilities also contained within. Ample parking and disabled entrance with available wheelchairs if needed. A good place to visit if you go through a lot of books!
  • Friendly staff, good choice of books and the cafe has a nice selection of food. The books are priced well ans in the main good quality. Last but not least the loos are always clean and tidy
  • Love browsing the shelves. Dusty in places but a warm atmosphere. Lovely coffee shop with great cakes.
  • A place to visit in person. Such a treasure trove of random literature. Many gems to be hunted out from amongst the 1980s photography manuals and windows 98 guide books! Good cafe and kids area with 50p for all kids books too!
  • It's a barn full of books! You're not going to get them on trade description. Huge selection of books. Nice cafe. If just browsing then the selection of books can be a bit confusing. I was surprised that the children's section was so poorly stocked.
