  • I came to the spa today having been given a voucher by a colleague. I'm not a member. I had a slight worry that it might be less welcoming to non-members, but I have to say all the staff (receptionists at the main desk and spa) and my lovely therapist Olivia were FAB and so welcoming. The facilities are amazing and a bit different to what I've found elsewhere, and Olivia's consultation before the massage was head and shoulders above what I've experienced anywhere else before. It was so simple (she asked me a few simple questions about my preferences), but I've just not experienced that anywhere else before, and I've been to a fair few places now. It's definitely worth paying the extra.
  • Shocking customer service towards guests of members. A friend who has a membership paid £25 for me to use the facilities...but since I hadn't gone to the reception and retrieved an entry fob/locker key BEFORE he walked out the door... I ended up sat in their lobby for 45mins trying to call his phone which had died - because they REFUSED me entry... without my friend being present. Although I can appreciate the reasoning behind these new security procedures...(assuming they are new since I have never had a problem before) my question was, and still is...WHY did they TAKE my friend's money... when they KNEW, as he TOLD them, was for his guest... who WASN'T actually EVEN ALLOWED to use the facilities whilst he wasn't present... WHEN HE TOLD THEM, AND CLEARLY WAS... LEAVING? Then decide to humiliate me when I go to the SAME DESK WHERE HE'D PAID FOR ME... to ask for a locker key. Not to mention I had been sat with this member in their restaurant for about 2 hours prior to this...PLUS I modelled for their website and I am STILL ON IT!! IF YOU HAVE SECURITY PROCEDURES SUCH AS 'NOT ALLOWING GUESTS ENTRY WITHOUT BEING ACCOMPANIED BY THE MEMBER' - THEN I SUGGEST YOU TRAIN YOUR STAFF ON HOW TO REFUSE MEMBERS ASKING TO PAY FOR A GUEST... IF ITS A POSSIBILITY THEY ARE AND MOST CERTAINLY IF THEY MAKE CLEAR THEY ARE LEAVING. it will save the money, reduce the embarrassment and stop the wasting of peoples time.
  • Really starting to go down hill on customer service since the Hut Group took over. Members are paying more for a refit that simply wasn't needed and is an ego trip of someone. It has added nothing to the experience but just made it look designer bling. The real issue is no real thought has actually been put into improving the customer service, in fact the changes have made it worse. It took 1/4 hour to get a coffee today despite 4 staff and not that many people wanting to be served. There is only one till and it's placed at the end of the long bar meaning staff walk up and down the bar instead of making a coffee. Just a simple example of lack of thought re customer service since the Hut Group took over. Real shame. I guess its not a surprise they don't ask members for feedback! Get to Know your customers and stop assuming cheshire house wives. No idea from new owners. What a shame.
  • Dear Sir/Madam This is my opportunity to leave a review on a staff member at Hale cc Namely - Jessica Stokes. She has provided excellent service since i have known her being a member. I believe she deserves the credit due and always smiling which is very refreshing! Please forward to the relevant department so this is noted, as i am aware this is a lead contact form. I will follow up with a Google review Many thanks Garth
  • I rang reception in regards to having a tour & signing up to which she told me that's not a problem. I mentioned that if I sign up is it possible to use the facilities that day to which she said yes that's not a problem. So I arive & have to the tour & afterwards I agree to sign up but the manager tells me I have to come in another time to actually sign up & before I use the facility I have to have a induction. The receptionist gave me false information & should of just booked me in at a appropriate time where I could of actually signed up. Total waste of a journey & time.
