  • Really good visit. I wasn't expecting much with the centre 'just' being in the back of a garden centre but I was pleasantly surprised. Loads of raptors/owls and a few surprises including a lovely Raven. The staff were humorous and knowledgeable about the birds and you got the sense of them having a deep seated falconry interest. Well worth the £4 entry per adult.
  • Great day experience. Really knowledgeable and friendly staff. Plenty of time to handle the birds without feeling rushed!
  • What an amazing day! Booked on the day experience - Wow! Andy was so knowledgeable & skilful with the birds, the incredible relationship he had with those we handled was inspiring. I was able to handle approx 11 birds of various sizes across the day, kestrels, vultures, a bald eagle & a very cheeky owl called 'Cash', culminating in a woodland walk with 'Titch', a Harris Hawk. Thank you for making my dreams of being close to such amazing creatures a reality. A must for bird-lovers of all ages. Highly recommended.
  • Not bad for a quick day out, the birds are beautiful and stunning to look at. The flying display was slightly disappointing with only one small bird doing one flight and then being held while eating. This took around 20 minutes.
  • The owl hour experience was brilliant! Andy was very helpful and gave us so much information about the birds. This really is very good value for money - we spent a full 15 - 20 minutes before the hour looking around the whole site and then began with the flying and feeding of the birds. We saw five beautiful birds and learned a lot about them and their care. The site is beautifully maintained and located in a sheltered area behind the Garden Centre. My wife - whose 'present' this was - is 69 and loved every minute; though it's suitable for pretty much any age! The hour was just right for us and we shall certainly do this again. Many thanks to Andy and all the Staff. John and Liz Dabbs. 08/03/16.
