Become part of an important effort to protect endangered species by visiting Cornish Seal Sanctuary,SEA LIFE Trust, caring for stray, sick, and injured seal pups discovered around the Cornwall coast. The origins of this sanctuary go back to 1958 when the founder, Ken Jones, found a baby seal washed up on the beach near his home. This was the first of many rescues to be performed over the years, with the number of seals soon outgrowing the single rescue pool near Jones's house. Today, the sanctuary includes five large rescue pools and a purpose-built hospital. Drop by to meet the sanctuary’s residents, some of which could never again survive in the wild. This place is so lovely! You can get close to the seals, sea lions, otters and penguins. The wildlife seem happy to be there, and we just enjoyed watching them! Great value for money. Staff were all nice and friendly.

Absolutely fab day. The kids were really interested in the names of the seals and why they had been taken into the sanctuary. Great extras like the nature walk and plenty of places for a picnic. The weather was perfect which always helps! Pay one for the whole year, we'll definitely return.

Lovely place to visit. The talks are informative and feeding time is very entertaining. The seals look really happy and without the Cornish Seal Sanctuary's efforts so many more seals would die. Have visited before and would definitely visit again!

Really good day out. Our 2 1/2 year old loved every minute. Obviously the seals and seal lions are amazing but also really good park, cafes are lovely and not stupidly priced. Would recommend a visit

Great place, great cause wish we had more time we didn't get here until afternoon 14.30 and could've spent another couple of hours. Virtual reality was a great experience too. Great to see the seals being so well looked after.
