We took my 9 month old nephew here today for something different to do. I also took my 12 year old sister who wasn't going to play in the big area but play with my nephew. On arrival we were asked if my nephew was under 2 which he is and was charged £6 for him, we thought he would be free which their website stated but thought maybe we misread. We decided to go on the empty bouncy castle and a lady came over and told me that adults weren't aloud which was fair enough so I left my 12 year old sister on there with him, they weren't jumping around and was just sitting on the castle. The man who greeted us at the beginning had been watching us like a hawk for the past 30 minutes came over immediately and told my sister that as she was 12 she couldn't go on anything at all due to insurance which is fine but he was very rude and abrupt when he told us. We then came across a poster which told us that babies under 1 are free so when we spoke to the rude man who then told us that we had said our little girl (my nephew is clearly not a girl, he was wearing all boys clothes and has short hair styled as a boy) was over 1, when in fact an age was never mentioned. When corrected he didn't apologise for calling him a little girl and carried on being rude. We were going to spend longer but we decided to leave early as we were disgusted by the mans attitude. I would never go there again and quite frankly if you are miserable and rude then you shouldn't work in a customer service environment. I would strongly suggest not going to play2day and go to another soft play centre in the area instead.
Took my 1 year old for the first time at the play centre. At first glance looked wonderful and extremly large play centre. BUT the baby area had very limited activities and the ball pit stunk of wee!! Not impressed!! Advise staff in the office and they really couldn't care less, another mum said she told them about it the week before as well. Don't bother with the food took 45 mins for a sandwich to be made and it was pretty poor, cafe is certainly overpriced for what it was.
Children's area is big for running and climbing, but the area for the younger children needs lots of changes - toys are old and have seen better days, so is the rug. The whole area really needs a make over.
Great indoor play park for the kids, large and spacious. Food facilities offer basic food and drinks too.
I love going here with my son, go about once a week. Some of the songs have swear words in (b***h, f**k, n***a) not suitable for a children's play area. They should playou children's songs. It's always clean, and nice staff. Food is good for the price, drinks are a bit pricey. Went to the Halloween party 2016 and could have done with more organisation and seats. Hope they take this into account for the Christmas party. Overall a lovely place to take your children for a party or to let them go crazy for a few hours.
