  • My husband likes castles, so we are trying to visit as many as we can, added Guilford Castle to our list. Great gardens around the castle. Castle very small, but worth a visit.
  • If you are in Guildford and will look at the city's is an overview well here first to gain. Because there is a very beautiful panoramic view from up here. After the city tour you get reflected here to enjoy the peace and quiet and the garden (typically English) with its many flowers, and to have a rest. The Castle, Castle or tower is not just as one is accustomed to in Germany looks a castle. It was the southernmost point of the hunting lands. Where you then also stayed. I believe in the 1600 century abandoned the Castle, and it was the foreclosure.

  • Great views from the top. A fascinating place to visit. Could do with some furniture inside to give unimaginative tourists an idea of what it looked like in medieval times.

  • A lovely view from the top even if it is caged. The interior is a bit empty and doesn't cost much for entry but view is worth it. The grounds around the castle are small but very pretty, beautifully manicured and looked after. A very good place to lounge and relax.
  • A beautiful castle with lovely gardens. I enjoy taking my lunch here to eat on one of the many benches. You can even go inside the castle for a small fee or wait for one of the free open days. The gardens are always free to enter.
  • One of my favourite places in Guildford. Quiet and relaxing, and with stunning gardens throughout the spring and summer.
  • Worth a visit, small but perfectly formed :)
  • Lovely, quiet, historic spot in the middle of a bustling city. Great views of the area too
