  • Came here with my young niece and nephew and we spent a lovely afternoon together. For 8 pounds we were treated to the usual museum but we also spent an hour in the education room making Christmas lan...  more »
  • It must be my fault but I really can't make my mind about this plaice. The museum does cater for those with poor herring, though in terns of exhibits, it does trawl the depths.
  • old school type of museum..... It's really not much In there apart from the gem the tiger...... Must really look after that trawler..... It's a only gem left from its class......

  • Very interesting tour of the museum. A particular thank you to Dennis for sharing his life experience on the trawler with us allowing us to have a real glimpse on the daily life of the crew. It was so interesting and informative, full of his life passion for his job. Thank you again.
  • I'm not sure if you need to have an affinity with Grimsby to enjoy this museum but I urge anyone visiting to make the effort and pay a visit. Very moving tribute to the fishermen of this great town.
  • I'm a local, so I know much of the history. Worth a trip if you're visiting, though.
  • Agreat museum been loads off times :) x
  • A very informative musuem, the wax work figures were very life like, loved the real smells, like the coal in the boiler room! Stop and listen to the chatter in each room, let your imagination take you there! Fantastic The tour round the trawler was very interesting, the guide had a strong accent, try and talk to him on a one to one bases,he was brilliant and actually worked on the trawler. Parking was easy, signposts were brilliant. spent 3 hours looking around and finished with great coffee from the reasonable priced coffee shop. Well done Grimsby
