  • This was not our first visit to the Arts centre. The theatre seating is tiered from a few rows in. We also used the bistro on this occasion (again not our first meal at the bistro) we had heroic bread...  more »
  • I was at Beacon on Saturday night when Clydeside Singers were presented with Queen's Award for Voluntary Service. The Beacon is a perfect situation for such events.

  • From an "operational" point of view, the staff could not be more obliging. They do whatever they can to help you organise your function or meeting.
  • Nice views from the restaurant and good food served
  • Great night out!
  • I live here so I'm biased.
  • Everything about The Beacon Arts Centre in Greenock is just fabulous. It is a superb playing "surface" for any band/act/show, both touring and local, with the facilities front and back of stage just of the very highest standard. As a promoter I found the booking, promotion and admin staff just superb and a compliment to the venue along with the wonderfully attentive and efficient "on-the-night" staff. The sound and lighting technical team are also of the highest quality. They have all the "toys" to play with as the sound and lighting equipment is also of the highest standard. Cannot praise the Beacon Arts Centre, Greenock highly enough for anyone wishing to play there or indeed for anyone wishing to attend as a customer. The main auditorium is superbly designed with the "viewer" very much in mind. Every seat is a winner! Must also remember to praise the very high quality and good "value for money" food on offer for the pre show meal. Remember please support your local "LIVE" venue.....it is there for YOUR entertainment. Bill Lothian - Wigwam Concert Promotions
