The Pleasure Beach, Great Yarmouth
(3.4/5 based on 1,000+ reviews on the web)
First opened in 1909, The Pleasure Beach is a beachside amusement park with over 30 rides. New rides are added every other year, while some historic rides that have been around since the park's opening are still in operation. Take a ride on a roller coaster built in 1932, or enjoy some of the more leisurely heritage attractions, such as the carousel and the scenic railway. Visit the Pleasure Beach Gardens to relax at Sara's Tearooms, a mini-golf course, and the Segway race track. Refresh yourself at the ice cream parlor or on-site cafe. Admission to the park is always free, but you pay for the rides individually. If you plan to spend the entire day, save money by purchasing a wristband. Make The Pleasure Beach a part of your Great Yarmouth vacation plans using our Great Yarmouth vacation route planner.

  • It seems expensive but of you are there for a good few hours a wristband is a better investment than tokens if even if you go on few rides you will probably go on them a few times so its better, I went on evolution (10 times at 3 tokens a go with 1 token being £1 which is just £30 for the one ride. They should add another thrill ride though
  • GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY. Many ride & attraction for all the family. food that is reasonably priced. A good day out with the family.
  • Food is reasonable .rides can be a bit pricey but my grandchildren love it. always a nice atmosphere.
  • A great family day out every year now. Wristbands are the way to go, particularly if you can get them with Tesco vouchers as we do. The wooden roller coaster and the Skydrop are the highlights. Staff very friendly, particularly if you thank them which most people don't seem to do.
  • Took me back. What a fantastic time me and my partner had! Great weekend!
