The Pleasure Beach, Great Yarmouth
Categories: Theme Parks, Water & Amusement Parks
First opened in 1909, The Pleasure Beach is a beachside amusement park with over 30 rides. New rides are added every other year, while some historic rides that have been around since the park's opening are still in operation. Take a ride on a roller coaster built in 1932, or enjoy some of the more leisurely heritage attractions, such as the carousel and the scenic railway. Visit the Pleasure Beach Gardens to relax at Sara's Tearooms, a mini-golf course, and the Segway race track. Refresh yourself at the ice cream parlor or on-site cafe. Admission to the park is always free, but you pay for the rides individually. If you plan to spend the entire day, save money by purchasing a wristband. Visited as part of a day out. It is very noisy and it does get busy but if you accept that's how it will be then you will be fine! Used spree book for wristbands. If it's open until late you can get a... read more »

Visited here for the first time in years at the weekend. Place appears very tired and could do with a lick of paint all round. It was 4 tokens ( so £4) to go on the Rollercoaster which seems expensive... read more »
It's a great amusement park, lots of rides, especially for kids, arcades, food and drink stalls hours of fun, free entry incase someone needs to go but not on rides. The only thing to make it better would be to add abother thrill ride or roller coaster.
Website said they were open til 8 pm but when we arrived the boards showed they were closing at 4 pm. Spoke to the lady on the desk who denied the website had the wrong time and when we showed the page to her on the phone she just said she couldn't see it and huffed. Absolutely appalling customer service. Really expensive and lots of stuff not included on wristband. Instead of using our day passes seeing as we arrived at 1.30pm we bought £20 worth of tokens instead which were easily used up in half an hour. Not impressed at all and certainly would not recommend.
Tacky seaside fun for the kids
I had a fabulous time there was amazing the rides were so good must go place so much fun, so much to do 10/10 absolutely wow just wow iwords can't explain how good it was 💗💗💗🎢🎡🎠
Expensive unless you war going to spend the whole day there and take advantage of the wrist bands but some fun rides and the kids loved it.
