  • We were passing through Torrington, and this happened to be next to the car park. It didn't look especially promising, but... what a brilliant place. Quiet, charming garden and excellent tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cakes. Most importantly, the girl that served us was utterly lovely - friendly, helpful and polite. Can't recommend enough.
  • This is well worth a visit. My grandson enjoyed the history of the civil war described with humour by the excellent guides. He was a bit perturbed by the medical practices of those times!
  • Friendly and excellent guides. Also recommendable for children. The food and the service of the cafe is briliant!
  • Great for all ages.
