  • Please be aware that they clock you going in & out. we didn't know this until received a fine in the post yesterday for £70. we only stayed an hour as was very busy. Had my mum with us who is disabled...  more »
  • Went a few times in the sunshine last week. It is always a lovely walk and lots to do with kids both younger and older. Great wildlife too.
  • We got this tip in the hotel-our guys were quite noisy after a long journey in the car and had to let off steam. The Lady in the hotel gave us this tip and it was exactly the place we needed. There is a very nice playground with all kinds of climbing frames. But there is especially a large forest around the playground, where all kinds of wooden camps are built and where children can on the hills and come to an end. Really perfect for a bunch of baby with too much energy. There is also a small eating House/coffee house where you can drink something warm later. And the WCs were proper. There are also all kinds of activities organized. When we were there, there was a quest in the theme of Halloween. Very good value for money.

  • Fantastic country park for all activities, there are clearly marked walking paths, cycling and riding paths. It's kept really well and the children's playing areas are excellent too. Food in the cafe is homemade and very nice. A good park in all weathers and easy to get to from motorway
  • I randomly discovered this place during a National Trust Tour. While not part of the NT, it has day parking for a couple of pounds and can be used to visit the NT mausoleum in Cobham Woods. Shorne has some fantastic walks around its woodland. Its well kept and a great place to take your dog for a walk. During School Holidays the Visitor/Food area can be a little busy, but there are plenty of places to picnic if you prefer. Café for hot drinks are a little expensive, but for £2 to park all day and have plenty of walks to last you it doesn't hurt to throw a few quid at them for a tea. Highly recommend stop if you like woodland walks.
  • Visited the woods with out little baby. Lovely walk. Great play area for big and small (the large play area was especially fun if I do say so myself!) Clean and so beautiful. Definitely recommend stopping off here if you're in the area or nearby.
  • A great Park with walks of varying distances. Something for everything. Pokemon stops within park kept oldest child happy. Would benefit even more from some geocache points.
  • Good walks, good park area for children, even the cafe although overpriced is nice.
