  • This is a small museum with friendly knowledgeable volunteers, many of whom have been Naval Divers. It's small but packs a lot into the space.
  • The Diving Museum is located in one of the many defenses in Gosport and the surrounding area. It is an end of the city centre, but just a stone's throw from the shingle beach of Stokes Bay. There is lots of parking space (paid parking) next door. The museum is not large, but is home to interesting pieces, all with excellent text explanation. You can, however, also a tour experience, and then you get much more background information. For a snack after the visit you can next door in the cafeteria, and you can then still over or along the beach. There is a public toilet next to the museum.
