I paid my fee and walked on through with my two children (6&8) I wouldn't expect them to be interested as this was a "for me" thing. I thoroughly enjoyed my time learning about the weapons of the navy, how they work and how old some of them were. My children on the other hand surprised me, they too had a great time, they can dress up, touch a lot of the displays and sit on old weapons as well as load the shells as quickly as they could. (you'll see!) They even managed to find each and every mouse that was hidden around the place for them to spot. That in itself was worth the not too expensive fee, you can update your ticket and come in free for a year if you choose. They even move the mice so the children have to search all over again. Cafe food was delicious with great views. Great place to visit.
Good exhibition but a bit pricy for the size of the exhibits. Only 2 hours required for a fairly full visit.
Very nice museum if you are interested in guns, torpedoes, mines and missiles. Gives an excellent overview of the weapons and "shot" used by the Royal Navy. In about two hours time you can see all the pieces of the museum. Best way to reach it is by waterbus from the main museum. I highly recommend it.
Good but not great. Lots of the exhibits seemed to be broken and I wouldn't go too far out of my way to visit here unless you're in Gosport anyway or have a particular interest in the content.
Great exhibits, museum is as the name suggests about munitions mostly so won't appeal to everyone, but curators have done an excellent job of telling the story of Priddy's Hard and its role in various wars.
