  • Very nice museum if you are interested in guns, torpedoes, mines and missiles. Gives an excellent overview of the weapons and "shot" used by the Royal Navy. In about two hours time you can see all the pieces of the museum. Best way to reach it is by waterbus from the main museum. I highly recommend it.
  • Great exhibits, museum is as the name suggests about munitions mostly so won't appeal to everyone, but curators have done an excellent job of telling the story of Priddy's Hard and its role in various wars.
  • Took my son here for a half term day out. Lots of interesting things to see and interactive exhibits. The museum takes you through the history of naval guns from brass cannons of 600 years ago to the cruise missiles and nuclear warheads of today. Not too crowded. One of several related museums, so if you are planning on staying in the area it's worth getting the discounted ticket to see all of them.
  • Even on a dreary English day still very worthwhile and very interesting
  • A great little museum! They've got a decent collection of shells, naval guns, torpedoes, missiles and mines - well presented with clear explanations. The site used to be the RN armament depot and so the buildings themselves are beautiful red brick and provide the perfect space for this collection. Thought the cafe was pretty good too!
