  • Fabulous parkland, interesting items in the woods - Giant Chairs anyone? - and a great children's playground. The cafe is also well worth a visit. Soup of the day was great. There is a large room we've used for training, so an ideal place for "Away Days", especially if a chance to go for a wander outside is included on the schedule.
  • £1 for the car park and you have access to a great place. A few nice parks, loads of woodland to explore, plenty of area for picnic and a cool little train for the kids to ride.
  • Great place to take the family. Walks, exploring, a miniature railway train (on Sundays) and one of the best play parks around the lothians, and for only £1 parking fee. The cafe in Vogrie house is good for a coffee, juice and an ice-cream as well.
  • Amazing wee hidden gem with a fantastic nine hole golf course, welcoming non members and we've never needed to book ahead.
  • Great places to spend a few hours walking or taking the kids for a treasure hunt. The adventure park is fantastic and aimed all kids. The honesty box is only a pound for the whole day. Worth a trip
