  • The paths are in need of maintenance, not for the infirm and certainly not easy for pushchair or mobility scooters. Asked at the desk if there was anything of special interest,to be told no,it's past,...  more »
  • We've been to Winkworth Arboretum 3 times (twice in Spring, once in Autumn) and it's a definite family favourite. In Spring, the azaleas and bluebells are spectacular, while the trees are a kaleidosco...  more »
  • Spent a lovely afternoon here in February. Great place to stroll around and see what is in flower. Staff very helpful and direct you to the location of what is in bloom. Challenging for those who have...  more »

  • I went during the peak of autumn when the leaves were at their most vibrant and golden. The colours found here during autumn are spectacular... purples, reds, pinks, oranges, yellows, greens ... amazing! The place is located in the Surrey hills so is natural , serene and fresh. For me , the only draw back was , for me coming from London without a car, the location can be difficult to get to . The nearest station is Godalming which is about 2.5 miles away ... the buses are sparse and if you try to walk it , as I did, half the journey is on unpaved roads...dodging motor vehicle traffic and jumping onto the grass verge when I had a chance . I think either a more frequent bus service or a special bus for driverless persons should be made available to get here. Otherwise, the place itself is lovely ✨🍁
  • Crazy busy in Spring and Autumn, because of the fabulous colour. A beautiful lake in a valley surrounded by trees. A lovely place for families to wander
  • A great little gem. When the Acres are in full colour, the view is spectacular. Be warned there is limited parking and it can get very busy when the plants are in flower or the trees are in colour.
  • Acres and acres of greenery and woodland, now with the autumn colours in full view, an absolute jem of a place to be in, specially on a sunny day. Kids just love the place. Parking available. Highly recommended. Toilets and a small cafe available near the entrance.
  • Beautiful in the autumn but can get quite crowded. Refreshments a bit basic. Dress for a walk in the woods.
