Amazingly tame (and friendly) birds and deer. My little one walked right up to one of the deer and was patting it's head. Pushchair friendly, but the paths are somewhat uneven and steep. Will definitely visit again.
A Cotswold stalwart of a family attraction in unique settings. Feed the animals, visit Santa's grotto at Christmas and they now have a new cafe serving snacks and drinks
A lovely place for a visit on a sunny day
I'm so sorry the other reviewer didn't have an enjoyable time. The community that lives there are now very old. With the exception of a couple of Monks, they are not a social order & do find it extremely hard to communicate to anyone in the outside world. I'm sure this would have been explained to you had you visited the cafe as we are the outreach centre for the community. Please don't allow it to put you off, it's an extremely peaceful, tranquil & beautiful environment with plenty of wildlife roaming freely throughout the grounds.
Lovely little place.
