  • We took our eight year old daughter here and she absolutely loved it!! The surrounding scenery is just breathtaking.. free parking which is an added bonus. Very educational 
  • The Roman Villa is a short distance from the mail road up a narrow lane and through a farm yard but it is well worth taking time to visit. So much of the area has been excavated and preserved. one can...  more »

  • Excellent view and very interesting remains with good parking facilities. Take good walking shoes as the site is a grass slope and there are large drops within the Villa walls.
  • Keen interest in history then this is worth a meander towards. Nice and out the way with a good mile or so of country lane you can walk up to arrive at the stunning remains of the villa. (Car parking is next to site if you aren't interested in the walk)
  • Free to public. Short walk uphill from the car park. Well worth a look.
  • Lovely walk from the nearby premier inn
