End the afternoon with a visit to the model boat display, or a tour of the port’s brewery. Take a leisure cruise up the river to see the expansive canal and more of the Gloucester area. • A lot of money, time and effort must have gone into restoring and updating this area. It's a good place to meander round and enjoy some industrial architecture and see some old seafaring vessels, some of which are being restored in dry docks.
  • Nice open spaces in main square. Plenty of shops, cafés and pubs.
  • Nice place to walk around and see the boats. Kept us entertained walking around there.
  • Excellent family day out, with or without a boat. Educational and nice range of shops. Plenty to see.
  • Nice place to walk about with kids planty things to do and where to go
