It's worth a walk through this park if you are in the area. Last visited the park 47 years ago and still have fond memories. Great to see that it's still well maintained. more »
Great park, one of the best that we go to and probably our favourite. There is a lake where people feed the ducks and geese, lovely walled flower garden which is brilliant for picnics, playing fields, a wooded walk, crown green bowling, tennis courts, crazy golf, 2 superb children's play areas 1 for toddlers and 1 for older kids up to age 15, skate park, fair priced miniature railway, very sensibly priced shop and a lovely river running through the park. Fun for all the family whatever age or ability.
Lovely park, lots to do for children of all ages. Playground, walks around the pond, feed the ducks, quiet areas, sensory/aromatic garden. Great for a day out
In glossop.good for families.play park.cafe/shop.pond with ducks..picnic tables.open space for ball games.are some of the facilities this park offers. It's a short walk into town centre which offers a wide range of shops.cafe.resturants.pubs. Accessible by train. Accommodation near park.
Peaceful friendly atmosphere, small shop sells toys, sweets, ice cream and hot dogs all not that expensive, most toys in pocket money range. Miniature railway that the kids loved, pay once ride all day if you like as long as there's not a queue of new riders. Lovely stream for kids to paddle in on a hot day.
Large park. Miniature railway. Wooden playpark with seperate infants park. Skater park and duck pond. Good for walking well behaved dogs.
