  • It was cold and windy and we had a long walk up to the top of the ridge before we found the herd but it was well worth the effort. A unique and special experience that the family will never forget.  more »
  • This was a very special experience and a wonderful walk. Our children aged 6&9 managed fine even with the bustling winds. Feeding the reindeer was a magical finish to the informative tour, with great ...  more »
  • Although we have visited the herd in the past, it has always been in the paddock on the mountain. This was the first time we have been on the mountain to see the herd roaming free. We had a short driv...  more »

  • The reindeer are lovely and very friendly. Bit of a walk to get to them, mention that because it's proper off road, wear boots / Wellington boots. You get a great enthusiastic talk about the reindeer. The paddock by the centre is really small and probably not worth them effort. Get out onto the hills with expert guide if you can.
  • What a fabulous day out! Kids love it and adults feel like kids again. A nice little walk gets you to the Reindeer natural hilltop area where you get to feed and meet them. The paddock at the actual centre is a great feature and is fantastic for kids.
  • This was simply the best experience. Did the guided walk to feed the reindeer on a stunning October day. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. I could have stayed all day!
  • Amazing place! Totally amazing! Adorable reindeer, amazing views on the walk up to the Paddock, and feeding the reindeer is incredible! ^_^
  • We had a great time at the reindeer center. The staff was very helpful and answered all of questions with great authority. We did the Paddock visit, but I hear the hill walk is the best. The reindeer in the paddocks are well looked after and cared for; the kiddos had a great time learning about reindeer and the reindeer herders from around the world.
