Glencoe, Glencoe

(4.7/5 based on 800+ reviews on the web)
Find yourself at the lowest point of a valley with green, wild, rocky mountains looming overhead at Glencoe. This U-shaped glen was formed in the last Ice Age by a glacier, leaving behind a 16 km (10 mi) long, 700 m (0.4 mi) wide stretch of scenic beauty. The serene landscape is ideal for a countryside hike, with many different tails varying in difficulty to choose from. Stop by the visitor center to learn more about the natural surroundings; on-site amenities include a small museum, restaurant, and cafe, where you can warm up with a coffee after a nice hike. • I've been on a tour. Really impressive mountains, their shape is different from our Alps or the Apennines. Are sinuous, almost rounded. With the snow make an impression, because they are at the top of the net and the snow white ends on the sides is starting numerous streams that descend to the Valley, often forming small waterfalls.

  • I think that it right would be put a WOW with capital letters. Scenery beautiful, majestic valleys between mountains and with streams and Lakes every few miles. He fell in love with us, totally recommended. We loved to do it on our own because we were stopping to where we wanted to admire the scenery and take photos.
