  • A must for those interested in old buildings steeped in history Beautiful architecture and stunning views over Glasgow
  • I took the kids and I'm sad to say we only had an hour and a half to check out one of the oldest universities in the world. Be sure not to miss the Hunterian and the Mackintosh House inside the Hunter...  more »
  • Upon exiting the Museum decided to cross a part of the Park and climb (a nice climb) on the Hill on top of which is this neo-Gothic masterpiece! The building is very impressive, for lovers of Harry Potter is a must-visit-as it was the set of many scenes-but also for those who don't like the boy wizard should be a milestone when visiting Glasgow! You can visit the Tower, but only at a specific time, so it's good to inquire carefully whether you want to climb. As it is atop a hill, the city view is beautiful! Recommended visit!

  • Stunning imposing building, more like a castle. Great place for study.
  • Loved my time here but I wish there was an entire anthropology department instead of just professors teaching in the sociology department. Great student life though and very supportive faculty
  • This university is really beautiful. It's 40 minutes walk from the city center but it worths because you can also see the hunterian museum on the same place. And only 10 minutes walk you have the fantastic kelvingrove museum that is fantastic and is also free.
  • Most wonderful University ever!!! Lovely people Brilliant staff giant library top 100 ranking in the world proud to study here at GU VIVA Scotland....................:)
  • Visited it in 2014 on a cloudy day. And somehow liked it overall, as a visitor.
