  • Here I got when I walked on the continuation of the pedestrian and shopping street, Trongate-Argyle Street. The tower is seen on the left side of the junction with the High st and knits with the nearest building. When I came closer, I saw that actually vertical building stands alone on an island at the intersection of the streets. The tower is all that survived from the tolbooth Glasgow, so called main institution of ancient Scottish cities. Inside the building of city administration worked, Court and even jail. The terrain here and now looks gloomy, especially at dusk. Looked at the tower and turned back toward the bustling Argyle Street. Specially coming here is not worth it.
