  • Wow! It's free, so I wasn't expecting huge amounts. I was wrong. It's a great experience. The ship has been restored brilliantly with really good access. Very interactive for children and loads to see. Highly recommended.
  • Fabulous day out. The museum is great the way it's situated back in time how you can get into the transport models to get the feel. The topper is the tall ship and getting to go on it. Plenty of great photo opportunities and kids love it.
  • Now we absolutely loved this. It's been renovated fantastically and you are allowed to ring the ships bell! I came with a band for c2c. We had been in seven countries in five days and this was fun. The Captains cabin was like an eye opener and it's a huge boat to learn about and enjoy.
  • Good transport museum plus history of the clyde. Then you have rhe tall sailing ship been restored to great standard. Coffee n refreshments excellent. Well worth a visit.
  • Good experience can go aboard and go down on lower deck. Great fun all round

Where to stay in Glasgow

Glasgow's revitalized city center offers outstanding accommodations--along with some of the finest shopping outside London. Considered one of the finest Victorian cities in Britain, Glasgow is renowned for its centrally located hotels. Spacious rooms overlook the historical city center, and award-winning restaurants and trendy cafes occupy the lower levels. Farther away from the central areas, which are often noisy and crowded with tourists, is a world of small B&Bs and guesthouses. These considerably cheaper options offer quality lodging in quiet neighborhoods less frequented by weekend revelers and rowdy nightlife lovers.
