  • The tall ship has now been moved to the quayside at the Transport Museum - it used to be further along the River Clyde towards the city centre. Use the car park for the transport museum for a visit to...  more »
  • This boat, well moored and tied up, still gives that feel of being at sea due to its raised frontage. The exhibits of beds and cooking areas etc allow a glimpse into a sailers life.
  • Though I am not a great lover of water transport, visit this historic ship was very interesting. Admission is free, you can purchase a small reminder (there is in Russian), which tells about the history of this ship and its characteristics. Go on deck and feel like a pirate:) Take your time, browse the domestic premises. Just recreated rooms in which lived the captain and his assistants-it helps to soak up some history.

  • Fantastic place. Loads of interactive fun for kids. Amazing cafe with reasonably priced food. My kids loved the scrubbing brushes and buckets !!
  • Worth extending a visit to the riverside museum and going into the tall ship. It's free although they do ask for an optional donation. Some things to do with the kids; scrubbing the decks, games and there is a free soft play in the lower deck.
  • Fascinating and exhilarating experience. Very impressively laid out for maximum effect, I would highly recommend a visit. And it's free!
  • Like the tardis inside...really fun to explore the decks and see how sailors lived at sea.
  • Had great fun with my 4 year old daughter. She had great fun exploring above and below deck. Especially the soft play area.
