I went to the play area in St Enoch's with my 1yr old granddaughter and price was £5 for forty mins or £2.99 for 20 mins I opted for the 40 mins and what a rip off it was as there wasn't much to play ...  more »

Located in the commercial area, space gathers stores and food court.. where the Fort appears to be the entertainment area for children.

  • Just your normal shopping centre with all the usual shops. The toilets are nice and there are plenty of fast food options under one roof. Nice children's play area.
  • This is constantly updating the shops inside, there is a good choice of stores. The place of airy and is kept clean. There is also little kiosks spread throughout. There's a wide range of different restaurants in their food court, offering a large seated area for each one. This is also kept clean, and is comfortable enough, there is music but it's not too loud On the floor just above there is a small play area with bouncy castle, and the toilets on that level too. There is disabled access ramps, toilets, and lifts which enables people to get to and from the parking area too. It's a nice building and has seating areas throughout, it's a pleasant experience, with everything all under one roof. There's 4 entrances/exits, one leads onto Argyle Street, that is one of the main shopping precincts. I believe there is more shops being added, where the now closed British home stores was, which is a great idea, more places to browse through. Enjoyable place.
  • Great choice of places to eat and range of shops has improved. Only downside is the car park is always busy with spaces no really suites to larger cars (i think when this was built cars were smaller) but there is a second car park right next to it.
  • Great shopping centre with all you need. There's a food court with a good selection - the typical Burger King, McDonald's, subway etc.
  • Good overall shopping choices and always clean. Plus, in my opinion if you have to go to use the public rest room it has some of the cleanest and private cubicles in the city centre.

Where to stay in Glasgow

Glasgow's revitalized city center offers outstanding accommodations--along with some of the finest shopping outside London. Considered one of the finest Victorian cities in Britain, Glasgow is renowned for its centrally located hotels. Spacious rooms overlook the historical city center, and award-winning restaurants and trendy cafes occupy the lower levels. Farther away from the central areas, which are often noisy and crowded with tourists, is a world of small B&Bs and guesthouses. These considerably cheaper options offer quality lodging in quiet neighborhoods less frequented by weekend revelers and rowdy nightlife lovers.
