Where to stay in Glasgow

Glasgow's revitalized city center offers outstanding accommodations--along with some of the finest shopping outside London. Considered one of the finest Victorian cities in Britain, Glasgow is renowned for its centrally located hotels. Spacious rooms overlook the historical city center, and award-winning restaurants and trendy cafes occupy the lower levels. Farther away from the central areas, which are often noisy and crowded with tourists, is a world of small B&Bs and guesthouses. These considerably cheaper options offer quality lodging in quiet neighborhoods less frequented by weekend revelers and rowdy nightlife lovers.

  • It's such a beautiful building and music gigs in here always sound amazing. The acoustics are brilliant. Whether it's an orchestra or a folk band or Celtic Connections is an excellent venue.
  • Great hidden gem in the city! Quiet little beer garden on the side of the building. Food looks great too.
  • Great for weddings, seen adverts being made, beautiful since upgraded to look like new, lovely homes for rent and sale, 50 yards from Glasgow green and people's palace
  • Attended a new year's party here. Great venue and well organised. Although a small bar, it has all the essentials.
  • Amazing venue with great sound and a nice floor 🙂
