  • This is a fantastic experience. Really takes you back in time and brings back memories for us older folks. It was a good insight to schools in the old days for the young ones too. The Heidie tour was ...  more »
  • Dropped into the school on way to Tramway and so glad we did. The architecture is beautifully simple. I liked being able to wander around. Great staff.  more »
  • Beautiful building in ugly environment close to the highway that runs through Glasgow is minced. I had expected more based on the photos in The Lighthouse. More attention to the evolution of the education than for the beautiful architecture.

  • Very basic museum with various rooms covering different periods and parts of the school. Outside playground is completely unused and appears to have been left to the elements. Overall a disappointing visit after being advised to pop in by family after their visit. They did enjoy their visit, so may just not appeal to me.
  • Great experience. Given the tour by the headmaster. You really get a feel for life in a Victorian School. One of the most interesting museums in the city.
  • Great place to show kids how much school's have changed over time
  • Excellent experience, fantastic building, worth seeing and free. One of Glasgow's hidden gems.
  • Take a trip back in time to the old ways of teaching. this School dates back to the last war..fantastic day out with the kids and the older members of family who may just remember this way of life..Well worth a Visit and the younger kids get to role play in the School atire.
