  • Classic Rennie Mackintosh building giving a realistic view of education in the 19th Century. I took my children here and they loved it.
  • The distance to walk around and southwest of Glasgow, Metro exactly in the middle of the two stations from either station 1 km walk away, so good. It is one of the famous Glasgow architect Mackintosh building. But here, it is more tough Museum with a unique theme. More featured styles taught at the school since ancient times until now, what has changed?. Change of learning styles in the UK together with changes in the world can see without focus only at a certain time, so big now.

  • This is a nice museum. We found it to be dater interesting. The only staff member we spoke to was at the front desk and we're told how we could get free parking as we had to park the car in the multi ...  more »

  • Very basic museum with various rooms covering different periods and parts of the school. Outside playground is completely unused and appears to have been left to the elements. Overall a disappointing visit after being advised to pop in by family after their visit. They did enjoy their visit, so may just not appeal to me.
  • Great experience. Given the tour by the headmaster. You really get a feel for life in a Victorian School. One of the most interesting museums in the city.
  • Great place to show kids how much school's have changed over time
  • Excellent experience, fantastic building, worth seeing and free. One of Glasgow's hidden gems.
  • Take a trip back in time to the old ways of teaching. this School dates back to the last war..fantastic day out with the kids and the older members of family who may just remember this way of life..Well worth a Visit and the younger kids get to role play in the School atire.
