  • I would suggest you start at Buchanan Galleries and walk in the direction of Kelvin Grove. The street has a variety of shops but some smaller or empty. The large BHS store is now lying empty. As you w...  read more »
  • This is one of the commercial pedestrian streets in Glasgow. You can find many shops, bars, restaurants. There is an old beautiful houses with many architectural frills. On a street lined with trees.

  • Best to walk from Buchanan Street towards Kelvingrove. The shops are a mix, but quite a few downmarket. This end of the street could do with a really good clean and spruce up. There are the usual chai...  read more »
  • There are many things that make a good bar, it could be great customer service friendly service, good drinks and food or even the entertainment at the weekends. O'Neils on Sauchiehall street could have been classed as one of those Bars few years ago, but what has gone wrong with this once friendly place. Well staff turnover has been quite noticeable from once friendly welcoming staff have been replace with some brain dead staff even though there are some nice ones left. The entertainment has gone downhill severely from bad to totally disorganised with the main entertainment being the in house dj playing a mixture of pop and happy hardcore, mostly happy hardcore at full volume driving the usual regulars away. Door staff that used to be welcoming have been replaced with arrogant low minded people who have a power trip attitude. My issue was one weekend that that l was denied entry for not being a regular after 14 years coming here l thought l was regular enough, but sadly not. On that particular night l was organising a friends stag party with 18 guys in tow, in the end we all went to a rival bar. I'm sure from now that I will be taking my custom elsewhere from now on till they sort out their issues.
  • They showed the euro 2016 football on any screens, the food was enjoyable and the beer cold
  • Nice place!
  • Must have had all new staff in the day we went. We ordered 2 Tennants and 2 Guinness and it took 10-15 minutes for them to be poured, in part due to the bartender starting to pour the Tennants first...
  • Only ate a starter. To kill time before my theory test. Which is next door.t Though I was thoroughly impressed as there was a distinctive Irish. Aura about. This particular O'Neill's unlike the others. I have. Tried in SCotland. The garlic king prawn on toast was scrumptious. And if it were on the better end of sauchiehall Street I would be a guaranteed regular.Waitresses. Were also delightful and from the old country 5* definetely would recommend to anyone
