I went to the Hampden experience and enjoyed it, the tour guide was very helpful I got to see where the team coaches come in and the dressing rooms,I also had a go at how fast I can kick a ball (47mp)...  more »

Dropped into the Museum Cafe for a business meeting. Staff extremely helpful and friendly - nice atmosphere, lots of space and seating/tables, and decent selection of hot/cold food and drink.  more »

  • Steeped in the history of not just the Scottish game but that of world football, Hampden should be one of the greatest stadiums on the planet but it's in a really inaccessible part of Glasgow. Only got one train station nearby, limited bus connections and don't even bother looking for a pub. A complete white elephant of a place, struggling to find itself amongst the plethora of truly magnificent football stadiums on offer now, not even amongst the top 2 stadiums in Glasgow
  • Aw had the best time watching my beloved CELTIC completing the treble and making history once again 🍀🇮🇪 Hampden in the sun Celtic 2 Aberdeen 1
  • I have attended Hampden park since I was a child, primarily to see Scotland international games. Compared to other stadia I have been to around the world, it is fast becoming obsolete and in need of upgrading. There is still a good atmosphere at full capacity, but could be better.
  • Went to see the Scottish Cup Final. Security were great but some didn't know where our entry was and got lost. Apart from that it was a great day
  • Easy access, well policed, amenities clean and food good and reasonably priced.

Where to stay in Glasgow

Glasgow's revitalized city center offers outstanding accommodations--along with some of the finest shopping outside London. Considered one of the finest Victorian cities in Britain, Glasgow is renowned for its centrally located hotels. Spacious rooms overlook the historical city center, and award-winning restaurants and trendy cafes occupy the lower levels. Farther away from the central areas, which are often noisy and crowded with tourists, is a world of small B&Bs and guesthouses. These considerably cheaper options offer quality lodging in quiet neighborhoods less frequented by weekend revelers and rowdy nightlife lovers.
