  • Amazing open space. It has sports areas and astroturf football pitches. Which are unobtrusive but occasionally can be a little loud. However its still a lovely place to walk sights to see and next to river. It has a historic background.
  • Pretty park with a free museum and botanical gardens. There was a cool Terra Cotta fountain in front of the people's palace. The botanical gardens we're a nice place to warm up.
  • Really nice space for a walk, couple of children's playgrounds....one for under-12s and a larger, adventure-type playground. Great for dogs.
  • Great area to hang out and chill. Had the pleasure of being there at the same time as a festival and were able to hear the music and see the light show. Met an epic local which added to the experience! 👍 ✌️
  • Good family outing its got the lot plus the enormous park is a bonus you can sit in cafe food/drinks ur choice really good

Where to stay in Glasgow

Glasgow's revitalized city center offers outstanding accommodations--along with some of the finest shopping outside London. Considered one of the finest Victorian cities in Britain, Glasgow is renowned for its centrally located hotels. Spacious rooms overlook the historical city center, and award-winning restaurants and trendy cafes occupy the lower levels. Farther away from the central areas, which are often noisy and crowded with tourists, is a world of small B&Bs and guesthouses. These considerably cheaper options offer quality lodging in quiet neighborhoods less frequented by weekend revelers and rowdy nightlife lovers.
