Where to stay in Glasgow

Glasgow's revitalized city center offers outstanding accommodations--along with some of the finest shopping outside London. Considered one of the finest Victorian cities in Britain, Glasgow is renowned for its centrally located hotels. Spacious rooms overlook the historical city center, and award-winning restaurants and trendy cafes occupy the lower levels. Farther away from the central areas, which are often noisy and crowded with tourists, is a world of small B&Bs and guesthouses. These considerably cheaper options offer quality lodging in quiet neighborhoods less frequented by weekend revelers and rowdy nightlife lovers.

  • Spend any time in Glasgow and you will pass this. Not impressed at all. I get it, it just tries too hard to be clever. The statue and building front could have been much better. Just looks cheesy.  more »
  • This is an iconic statue and should be added to the "a guy in the pub told me" story of what a horse statue means when a leg is raised... when it has a cone, you're in Glasgow my lad!  more »
  • A bit of a highlight for many tourists recommended for a selfie if you come to glasgow to take in some sights!!  more »
