  • Me and my family stumbled across this museum by pure accident. what a hidden gem fabulous for the kids and adults alike great set up and the staff are so helpful and went out of there way absolute top marks and made our day will 100 percent be back and once again a big thankyou to all the staff.
  • Excellent military museum. Interesting for all ages.
  • Enjoyed my visit here. Took about two hours to complete, but found myself skimming some parts towards the end. The collection is quite big and separated by era. My personal favourites were the Waterloo, Zulu, and ww1 sections. There is also a great collection of medals at the end, with some VC medals and stories of their recipients. Really good way to spend a few hours, especially if you have some knowledge of certain battles. Not sure if kids would keep interest all the way round.
  • Really good afternoon out.
  • My wife and I with our two grandsons came across this museum by accident (we took a wrong turning) It turned out to be one of the best museums ive visited. The kids enjoyed dressing up in the uniforms and modern battlegear we must have spent at least 4 hrs there.A lovely cafĂ© and all the staff where very helpful and friendly. Give it a try you wont be disappointed.
