  • Got this as a Christmas pressie and Ross and Action adventure activities were fab! My circuits around their tracks really showed me what 4*4's are designed to do! Would definitely recommend!

  • My mother-in-law and myself had great fun at AAA doing some off-roading with Ian, he was very patient, personable and knowledgeable. My mother-in-law say she is sorry for getting stuck but also says thank you for the thistle! Definately recommend this.

  • Some Good - Mostly Bad! As a team of nine celebrating a friends birthday, we arrived very excited to get down to a great day of activities. We were immediatly split up into three groups which was slightly dissapointing but obviously needed to allow everyone to participate in different activities at the same time. We had signed up for Quad, 4x4, Archery and the "Ariel Assault Course" costing around £550 in total. The Good: The farm is in a great location, located right beside Loch Lomond it really is beautiful. The staff are young and very enthusiastic on every event and always trying to make it as enjoyable as possible and helpfull. My Quad Biking experience was great, 40minutes around the farm was the highlight of the day 10/10 for that. The 4x4 experience was good, without being great. That may have had something to do with being on the quad bikes first which makes the 4x4's seem soft. You basically do a two rounds of driving around a very muddy field under instruction. This is one where some will like it and others will find it boring. Definatly Interesting if not exciting. 7/10 The Archery This event was located in what looked like a small storage barn. One look at the place zapped any enthusiasm you may of had. I had done archery once before which was located in a field with large wooden targets with a very perfessional feel about it. This i am afraid was the complete opposite. The team which had been on before, where sitting at the side bored and had long given up. The targets where only three metres away and my one had fallen off. It was just rubbish, a complete amateur attempt. DONT BOTHER! Ariel Assult Course This again was located in the barn, right beside the archery, this was again a complete disappointment and laughable to look at. One of the young workers looked embarrassed about it and asked who is going first, no one bothered.. There was a climbing wall which was around 6 metres high. If you had any sort of climbing skills at all you would be at the top within 30 seconds without breaking a sweat. There was also some half harted attempts at making a climbing ladder and a tired climbing net was hanging down. I wish I had a picture it was honestly laughable. The BBQ was a last minute thing as the owner forgot, everyone wanted to leave after the shambles that was archery and "ariel assult course". The food was pretty awfull my burger was pink in the middle so we just left. Conclusion Quads - worth the money - although the brakes where not connected on any of them, dangerous maybe? and they had no spare ones. 4x4 - Was ok pretty decent but might be hit or miss for some people. Archery - A terrible attempt at what should be a fun event. Ariel Assault Course - The owner must be delusional calling it that. It provided many laughs for the group, unfortunately for all the wrong reasons. BBQ - The food was rank. In summary im sure the paintballing and some other events are better but tbh the whole experience has put me off ever going back.
