  • We found Gruinard Bay by chance on a drive through the Highlands. What a find it was. We spotted it from a hill and had to go for a closer look. There is a small car park area across the road from the...  more »
  • Stayed at the Gruinard bay caravan park, the location is excellent as the bay is beautiful, watching all the wildlife as the sun went down. The park its self is a little rustic shall we say, not parti...  more »
  • Amazing place to stretch your legs. Beautiful wide open views across to Gruinard Island from stunning beaches. Great to dig for cockles just off the point when the tide is out.  more »

  • The owner Tony was very rude to my partner. The site is not dog friendly as it makes out. Fortunately for us we only stayed one night. It forced us to consider accommodation elsewhere and we chose to go to The sands holiday centre at Gareloch. It was excellent. Certainly family and Dog friendly. It has access to a beach just the same as Gruinard Bay has and is the same price. The sands set the standard and Gruinard bay falls behind. Gruinard also had a bad smell of Human waste halfway along the park towards the house. Avoid!
  • I have been to Gruinard Bay park for about 10 years now, we go as a family once a year in May. Perfect scenery, the owner is very helpful and it is a truly lovely place to go on a family holiday.
  • Lovely location with all the basic amenities
  • Loved every minute.
  • The scenery is outstanding. Tony, the owner, is very helpful. It's a beautiful part of the world!
