  • Free parking. Only £6-00 entry fee. Gift shop and cafe. All the food is animal friendly. The sanctuary is massive and even has a telescope to view distant areas. The animals that are nearer have good ...  more »
  • This sanctuary was at west runton and the staff were very welcoming. The animals all had very sad stories and seemed well cared for and pampered. The only fly in the ointment was that all the branding...  more »
  • If you are travelling any distance to see this sanctuary. I would call ahead to see if they are open or allowing visitors. Total waste of time.

  • Just got 2 more dogs, father and son. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They let us visit several times so our other dog could play with them and get used to them.
  • If I had to choose just one charity to support financially out of all the animal charities out there it would be Hillside Animal Sanctuary. The staff there are good hearted, hard working people who ensure that the thousands of resuced animals at their facility get the best care possible. Hillside is the absolute antonym to the foul intensive farming industry.
  • "HILLSIDE ANIMAL SANCTUARY"....With over 20 years of animal welfare experience behind them, with the legendary, "MARTIN SHAW" as their honourable patron, it is well worth taking a look at the "HILLSIDE ANIMAL SANCTUARY" web site.....The last time I visited "NORWICH", the vehicle I was travelling in 'blew up', leaving everyone stranded at a service station......."HILLSIDE ANIMAL SANCTUARY"....."A GREAT PLACE FOR ALL ANIMALS....OVER 2,000 OF THEM...........
  • To see all the animals was nice but some of the staff was NOT nice
  • Hats off to Hillside for helping to rescue animals from an otherwise horrible fate. Also recommend popping to their sanctuary in West Runton, which also has a completely Vegan cafe.
