  • I would recommend the Clansman centre for a visit. Was there just over an hour and within the hour learned so much about the Clansman way of life. One of the highlights was seeing how kilt was warn. T...  more »
  • Took in a show here as part of a highlands tour and really enjoyed it. It was a one-man show showcasing kilts and weapons. I don't remember the gentleman's name but he was very funny, informative and ...  more »
  • We were the first time in Fort Augustus by 2015, since we got married in the vicinity. We are come to the Clansman Centre rather by chance when struck on the eve of the wedding, that our own cake figures had suffered badly during the flight. We were looking down so dinner 20:30 throughout Fort Augustus Superglue, but except the Prittstift supermarket adhesive is nowhere found. The Clansman Centre was only Tourishop still open and just wanted to see my maid of honor. Out of sheer desperation, I asked the staff for cyano and after a minute-long, sweat-inducing search, he came back under the counter and shouted triumphantly: "Superglue". With the return of the second glue we took us more time and up you know the shop extensively. And see da...zwischen there is the usual souvenirs but also some other gifts which are not everywhere. Scottish arms and wood art, various jewelry, Tweed and Tartan accessories and beautiful sporrans, kilt pins and also Quaichs for the Scottish outfit. We have got rid of abundant money and were there this year again. The staff are very friendly and I was even recognized as the Lady with the Superglue. For us, it was the life-saving and I find this place worth a visit. There are also films about the history of the Highland residents and a Mini Museum. Furthermore, the Centre of the main season is open until 21: 00.

  • Nice decent place, we went to go and see a photograph exhibition so we did not see all of the building but from what we did see it was okay but nothing to rave about but the photos there were very good.
  • Very roomy suit, special atmosphere, poor facilities (pool, gim)
  • Very much enjoyed the experience. Staff most helpful, asset to Fort Augustus.
  • Usual tourist stuff.
  • Nice
