  • The harbor at Folkstone wasn't looking too pretty the day we were there. My husband was however fascinated by the difference in the tides which left a bunch of boats sitting in the mud.  more »
  • This was probably a lovely harbour and probably will be again but at the moment it is just a building site. Major work is being undertaken at the moment  more »

  • This is a lovely place reaching from the Sunny sands to the harbour arm. Nice places to eat and drink. Good for walks.
  • It was great walking here and everything is in walking reach and theres a lovely park nearby a must see if you're in Folkestone guys
  • Just love parking here with my Truck for a weekend, everything is here.... 😉 👍👍
  • Folkestone Harbour is quite a big area consisting of few nice and not so nice bits. I don't know if there is an actual border that would suggest where the harbour starts and finishes. Personally, I think the best bits are: recently regenerated Harbour Arm (limited opening times) and the area where the interactive fountain is - in the summer my kids love going there to play. The not so nice bits are: massive carpark for lorries, and the massive Burstin hotel, towering above the entire area- so out of scale and ugly. Apart from that I think that Folkestone Harbour has got a lot of potential and hopefully it will improve in the near future.
  • It has been reopened after renovation in 2015 and now there are lots of shops, cafes and restaurants. Beautiful views of the Folkestone Harbour. Recommend to anyone.
