  • Really Peaceful! Lots of sea air. On a good day you can see France lots of seafood shops and the general public enjoying themselves. Worth a visit!
  • It is a nice walk. There are plenty of little see food restaurant. With good weather, lots of people around. At night is quite deserted. Even a bit frightening
  • Looking across from Folkestone harbour, lovely view across to Dover. Not much to do on the harbour itself, which was a shame as there were plenty of tourists.

  • Folkestone Harbour is quite a big area consisting of few nice and not so nice bits. I don't know if there is an actual border that would suggest where the harbour starts and finishes. Personally, I think the best bits are: recently regenerated Harbour Arm (limited opening times) and the area where the interactive fountain is - in the summer my kids love going there to play. The not so nice bits are: massive carpark for lorries, and the massive Burstin hotel, towering above the entire area- so out of scale and ugly. Apart from that I think that Folkestone Harbour has got a lot of potential and hopefully it will improve in the near future.
  • The harbour arm has undergone an amazing transformation with millions of pounds dedicated to it, bringing the historic area to life. You'll find a whole range of cafĂ©'s, bars, eateries and shops along the walkway ending with the pub built into the old lighthouse. This is just the beginning, look out for live music, art and much more especially during the summer months.
  • Lovely place, lots of parking, right in the town, and a great breakfast at the cafe!
  • It has been reopened after renovation in 2015 and now there are lots of shops, cafes and restaurants. Beautiful views of the Folkestone Harbour. Recommend to anyone.
  • A lovely day out with lovely food and drink. The views are great so much going on.
