We had an interesting guide telling us about the caves and the people who had first explored them. It was interesting to think that we were following in the footsteps of people years ago who mapped the caves with little more than candles and magnesium flares. The tour starts with a short boat ride on an underground river and then continues on foot. The cave network is quite large and the guide points out lots of interesting rock formations and how they were formed. Be warned though there are a hundred and fifty steps to climb on the way out! The visitor center has a cafe and lots of info on the history of the caves and how they were formed.

Fantastic experience in the belly of the Earth. Complete, educative guide tour that brings out the most peculiar facts about the caves. And includes a nice smooth boat ride in an underground river!

We very much enjoyed visiting the caves. The guides was very good and made the tour an even greater enjoyment. But I don´t understand why they have to tell you so many times not to bump your head into the stones. Makes you feel like you are a person who would walk straight into any brick wall if no one told you not to.

A really great cave tour. Guide was knowledgeable. The caves are very beautiful. There's no concern about crawling through holes, it's all walkable with very high ceilings from the most part

Beautiful place to see! The tour is brilliant and at 75 minutes long, it is definitely worth it! The boat part at the start is especially enjoyable.
